Fields and Trees
Sometimes adverse weather creates opportunities by simplifying a view and emphasising its elements. I’ve often admired the outlines of the trees and hedgerows below Chrome Hill, here softened by driving snow. It was just about possible to frame an image, temporarily leaving the scant shelter of a wall before retreating once more to wipe the lens. Sensible people don’t go out in a blizzard, but landscape photographers have a different sensibility.
